Mike Hammond

Mike is the founder and senior partner of Hammond Law Group. He has practiced business immigration law for over twenty years. His practice focuses on the IT and healthcare staffing sectors. He also represents a variety of other companies that hire international workers. His biggest wish is that the USCIS Service Centers and the US Consulates would learn to follow the law instead of “making S**T up!” mfh@hammondlawgroup.com

Lisa Galvan

Lisa is a Senior Associate at the Hammond Law Group. Although Lisa just recently joined HLG, she has over 15 years of experience in employment-based immigration law and advises and represents companies in the preparation of employment-based nonimmigrant petitions (e.g., B, E, H, L, O, P, R, and TN petitions), labor certification (PERM) applications, immigrant petitions (all preference categories), and adjustment of status and consular processing applications. She represents companies undergoing immigration-related investigations, including I-9 audits, public access file reviews, SEVIS evaluations, onsite inspections, and a variety of other government probes. Lisa joined HLG because she was tired of the rat race and the red tape and protocols that come with practicing in a large corporate law firm. She felt unable to represent her clients to the best of her ability because she was prevented from giving the USCIS Service Centers and US Consulates exactly what they deserved; a piece of her mind for “making S**T up” on a daily basis. Lisa understands that she was never meant to wear a suit and stockings every day and now looks forward to working every day in the immigration trenches at HLG fighting for our clients in any and every way possible. lisa.galvan@hammondlawgroup.com

Matthew Minor

Matt is an associate attorney at the Hammond Law Group. Matt’s focus has always been on the employment side of immigration, especially helping IT staffing companies, big and small. Matt has worked on a variety of different cases and enjoys crafting specific immigration solutions that best fit a client’s needs. USCIS can be a fickle animal and Matt is amazed at how often they need to be reminded that we know the law too. matthew.minor@hammondlawgroup.com
